Market-making vaults are an advanced liquidity concept, not a core current product feature.

Status​

This module is experimental unless a specific environment states otherwise.

Design Intent​

The design connects:

  • Depositors seeking exposure to market-making returns
  • Professional liquidity providers needing deployable capital

In theory, that can help bootstrap depth without making every user quote the book directly.

Documented Structure​

The documented structure uses a model in which:

  • Users deposit stablecoins into a vault
  • Approved market makers receive allocated capital
  • Profits are split between depositors, operators, and the protocol according to configured rules

Main Risks​

  • Inventory and adverse-selection risk
  • Operator and allocation risk
  • Permissioning risk around who can deploy vault capital
  • Ambiguity if this module is presented as core rather than optional

Product Boundary​

This module sits outside Ollo's core perpetuals product. Perpetuals, margin, and settlement do not depend on it.
