Derivative Instruments
Ollo's current instrument story should be read in layers: what is core today, what is planned next, and what remains research.
Perpetuals
Perpetuals are the current core instrument. They have no expiry date and remain open until the trader closes the position or the protocol liquidates it.
In Ollo's current design:
- Perpetuals use allowlisted collateral assets, with USDC as the only allowlisted collateral asset in the current closed beta
- Pricing is anchored through funding
- Orders trade on an onchain central limit order book
Swaps
FX swaps are part of the roadmap, not the current live product. They matter strategically because swaps are central to institutional FX risk transfer, but they are not implemented in the current live baseline.
Prediction Markets
Prediction markets also belong to the roadmap. They appear in research and status materials as a future product direction, not as part of the current perpetuals baseline.
